ENTR 353: Social Entrepreneurship
Three hours; 3 credits. This course provides an immersion experience in a social entrepreneurship environment. Students will use the mission model canvas to explore the challenges of developing and managing a successful social enterprise. Students will analyze the vision, mission, strategies, goals, customers, stakeholders, service model, operations, and organizational structure of successful and failed social enterprises. Each student will complete a service-learning project, which will entail completing a project or solving a problem for an existing non-profit.
Prerequisites: ENTR 351. (SPRING)
