Dr. Ali Emdad

Dr. Ali Emdad is Professor and Associate Dean of the School of Business and Management. He received a Ph.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University and has completed the executive management and leadership programs at Harvard and Yale Universities. Dr. Emdad has published more than 40 articles on strategic uses of information technology and business process improvement; Internet supply chain management; international issues in IT management; and innovative approached to assessment in management education. He has served on the accreditation review boards of colleges; has organized international conferences; and has won several major corporate and government research grants and contracts. Dr. Emdad has received the University's Iva G. Jones Medallion Award, the highest honor given to a faculty for outstanding teaching, scholarship, and service. In 2006, was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for teaching and research.
