Celebrating Global Impact: Dr. Christa Cheree Gilliam Named to Fulbright Specialist Roster

The School of Social Work proudly celebrates Dr. Christa Cheree Gilliam on her selection to the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Roster, an honor that reflects her scholarly excellence, global engagement, and commitment to advancing knowledge across borders.
According to the official notification, Dr. Gilliam has been recommended by the Peer Review Panel for placement on the Fulbright Specialist Roster for a three-year tenure (2026–2029). This distinction places her among a highly competitive pool of experts eligible to collaborate with institutions in over 150 countries worldwide.
The Fulbright Specialist Program, administered by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, is one of the nation’s most respected international exchange programs.
