MSGSA Professional Development Reimbursement Grant Application Process

The MSGSA Reimbursement Grant provides financial support to eligible students participating in academic and professional development activities. Students may apply through the School of Graduate Studies Funding Request webpage to request funding for academic and professional conferences, workshops and seminars, professional development opportunities, and research-related activities. 

Eligibility Requirements: To be considered for funding, applicants must:

• Be currently enrolled as a graduate student.
• Be in good academic standing.
• Be in good financial standing with the university.

Funding Amount: Students may be eligible for a reimbursement up to $250 for conference attendance or up to $500 for a conference presentation, per academic semester:

• Fall Semester
• Spring Semester
• Summer Semester

Review Process: Applications for the MSGSA Reimbursement Grant are typically reviewed around the 15th of each month. Due to the high volume of applications and follow-up inquiries we receive, we kindly ask applicants to wait one month after submitting their application before contacting us for a status update. If your application is approved, reimbursement will be processed within approximately 4-6 weeks following approval. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
