Faculty Development Workshops and Training
Primary goal is to prepare and educate a cadre of faculty and instructors from different disciplines in global climate science literacy. Participating faculty are expected to integrate climate concepts in their existing curriculum.
- To advance the teaching competency in climate change, the faculty members from partner institutions availed themselves faculty development opportunities offered by the American Meteorological Society (AMS), National Center Atmospheric Research (NCAR), University of Colorado School Of ICE, NSF GLOBE, American Environmental Science and Studies, Ecological Society of America, and AMS MSIREACH at the Texas A & M University, College Station.
- To provide hands-on training in integrating climate change concepts in the curriculum via faculty development workshops.
