NaToya Mitchell, M.A., is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Public Policy at Morgan State University.  Professor Mitchell’s academic and professional interests focus on public policy, leadership theory and practice, and corporate governance.  Ms. Mitchell has analyzed processes and outcomes in healthcare delivery and public health settings to inform policy decision-making for various private and public populations.

Committed to effective and equitable care, Ms. Mitchell is an Anne Arundel County, Maryland executive appointee and member of several commissions, boards, and workgroups. Ms. Mitchell has led healthcare programs, creating new clinical and supportive programs for behavioral health, Veterans, and individuals requiring chronic care and residential services throughout the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.

A life member of Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society) and Morgan State University Alumni Association, Ms. Mitchell has earned a Master of Arts in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree from Morgan State University.
