The Master of Science in Data Analytics and Visualization (DAV) at Morgan State University’s Graves School of Business & Management equips students with the knowledge, skills, and experience to transform raw data into strategic insights. Designed as a STEM-designated program, DAV integrates applied learning with cutting-edge analytical tools like Tableau, Excel, SQL, R, and Python. Program Requirements

The MS in Data Analytics and Visualization requires 30 credit hours and can be completed in as little as 16 months. Students choose from multiple concentrations, including People Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Finance, Computer Science/Advanced Computing, Health Informatics, and Engineering. Coursework balances core requirements with electives half the curriculum is student-selected, providing maximum flexibility. The program’s STEM designation, capstone experiences, and industry-partnered projects ensure both depth and practical readiness.

Whether you are an in-state, out-of-state, or international student, you may be eligible for Graduate Funding. We also offer two types of Graduate Assistantships: Teaching Assistantships (TAs) and Research Assistantships (RAs). Both provide special learning opportunities in exchange for a stipend/salary and Tuition Award. In addition, by simply filing your FAFSA each year, you will be able to participate in Federal Plus Loans and Federal Direct Loan Programs. With proper planning, going back to graduate school is more than possible.
