Counseling Center
Services
Everyone needs someone to talk with at times. Counseling is a growth process through which students are helped to define goals, make decisions, and solve problems related to personal, social, academic, and career concerns. The Counseling Center offers opportunities for personal development that will lead to enhanced learning in order to support the emotional, social, and developmental needs of Morgan students. The Counseling Center helps students resolve existing problems, prevent potential problems, and develop new skills that will enrich their lives. Services address personal, career, and academic learning issues. Formats include individual and group counseling, and workshops. Consultation and outreach services are also available to University organizations, departments, and staff. Please visit our counseling and consultation page for specifics on the services we provide.
To schedule a first appointment, also called an intake appointment, please call (443)885-3130 or stop by our office. If you are a first time client or if this is an urgent crisis, you may also come to the counseling center from 10am to 3pm to request a same-day consultation appointment. Our services are free and are for currently enrolled Morgan students.
