A Guide to Vaccines
Guidance for MSU Community on Vaccination
All members of the MSU community are encouraged to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine. People are encouraged to get the vaccine for the following reasons:
- The vaccines provide protection from serious COVID-19 illness
- The vaccines are the best path forward to ending the pandemic
- The vaccines have minimal side effects. The most common side effects include soreness at the injection site, fever, or body aches
As of April 6, all Marylanders 16 and older will be eligible for vaccination at Maryland's mass vaccination sites.
On April 12, all Marylanders 16 and older will be eligible for vaccination through all providers.
Vaccinations are available through hospitals, local health departments, pharmacies (including CVS, Safeway, and Walgreens), and mass vaccination sites. The State of Maryland has created a website that allows you to find a vaccination site. This information can be found here: https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine
