Morgan State University’s vaccine mandate remains in effect for the Fall 2022 Semester.  All new students must submit proof of vaccination for COVID-19 by August 8 or submit a vaccine exemption by July 25.

VACCINE VERIFICATION

To meet the vaccination requirement, all students and employees will be required to confirm their vaccination status. A copy of the COVID vaccination documents provided at the time the vaccine is received must be submitted to MSU as verification. View additional details on the process for submitting your vaccination documents.

VACCINE EXEMPTION

The University will review requests for medical and religious exemptions to the vaccination mandate, as provided for under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. View additional details on requesting such an exemption.

BOOSTER VACCINATIONS

The FDA and CDC recommend COVID-19 booster vaccinations for all individuals 65 and older. In addition, workers 18 and older in select settings, including education spaces like MSU, are recommended to receive a booster vaccination. MSU encourages every member of our campus community to receive a COVID-19 booster six months after their second shot.

WHERE TO GET VACCINATED

The COVID-19 vaccine is now readily available in the United States. To find vaccine locations near you, visit vaccines.gov, text your ZIP code to 43882, or call 1-800-232-0233.
