Biography: Dr. Farzad Moazzami received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2003 from Azad University of Tabriz, Iran, and the M.Eng.(2009) and D.Eng.(2011) degrees from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. Currently, he is serving as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and interim Dean of College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies. and holds an Associate Professor rank in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Morgan State University. Dr. Moazzami is currently directing research activities in the WiNetS lab at MSU focusing on developing Cyber Defense controls such as NIDS and HIDS and modeling security threats in networked telemetry environments. WiNetS laboratory is supported by the International Foundation for telemetering. During his tenure in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, he taught courses in signals and systems, digital communications, communication network security, cryptography, and communication security. He is a member of IEEE and ASEE organizations. Dr. Moazzami developed over 15 online undergraduate and graduate courses in the department.
