The S.M.A.R.T. Club

SMART Club Flyer

The mission and purpose of the S.M.A.R.T Club shall be to encourage students to explore the world of STEM by cultivating the knowledge on applied research techniques, supporting involved students via mentorship in proposal writing, research writing, and guiding students in qualitative research. The club allows prospective students to pursue research in fields close to them, and teaches how to write research proposals. It gives its members the opportunity to research their own projects when money would be a prohibition otherwise. The club's advisor is Dr. Kadir Aslan, and the executive board consists of:

  • President: Frank Coleman
  • Vice President: Raquel Shortt
  • Secretary: Zanel Camielle
  • Treasurer: Rukiyat Ariori
  • Webmaster: Demetrius Robinson
