Student Organization Event Planning
The University Events Office only recognizes student organizations that are officially registered with the Office of Student Activities.
Student Organizations are permitted to schedule events Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 7:00am-11:00pm; Friday and Saturday, 7:00am-2:00am. Events scheduled outside of these time frames must be approved by the Vice-President for Student Affairs or his/her designee. Parties are only allowed on Fridays and Saturdays.
Student Organizations are responsible for all catering, labor, equipment and service charges associated with their events. All event charges must be paid in full 3 business days prior to the scheduled event. Charges for events may vary based upon the specific needs of the event.
Authorized student organization members and advisors must use Virtual EMS to schedule events. Only the members and advisors listed on the approved Student Organization Registration will be given access to Virtual EMS.
