MSU Library Computer Lab

The Morgan State University computer lab is located on the first floor in Room 118. The purpose of the lab is to provide Internet access, access to common application software and printing services to support the instruction and research needs of library patrons.


  • Equipment and Software
    • 60 computers
    • Operating System Windows XP and a few with Windows 7
    • Web Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer v.7 and Mozilla
  • Programs:
    • Microsoft Office 2007 with Office applications includes Word (word processor), Excel (spreadsheet), Power Point (presentations), Publisher (desktop publishing), and Access (database)
    • Adobe Reader 9
  •  A printer is available for printouts in the Lab.
    • There is a thirty-page per person per day print limit.  
    • Any larger print jobs will be deleted.
    • All unclaimed printouts will be discarded at the end of the day.
