Computer Access for Library Visitors

The Morgan State University Library computers are provided to enable library users to access the collections and other information resources and services in support of research needs.

Computer Guest Accounts

All computer users must follow Morgan State University Library's computer use policies.

Library visitors may register for a guest account at Information Desk during all hours the library is open. 

·        A photo identification and proof of current address must be presented to register.

·        The system will record your name, address, phone number, and email address. The guest account will remain active for three days at which time a new account may be established.

The library reserves the right to refuse any guest account application or revoke any library guest account, if the owner fails to abide by all computing and network policies of Morgan State University Library.

Do not share your guest account username and password with anyone. The password issued with the guest account should be changed immediately for security purposes. All lost or stolen guest accounts should be reported immediately to the Information Desk or (443) 885-3450

Groups, scheduled to use the library, should contact the office of the Assistant Director of Library Information Technology about setting up Guest Computer Accounts for their participants
