Depending upon available resources and criteria for eligibility, graduate students may receive financial aid in the form of tuition awards, graduate assistantships including teaching assistantships (TAs), research assistantships (RAs), fellowships, scholarships, work study and loans. In certain circumstances, staff employment, including a limited number of positions in the Office of Residence Life, may also be available. In order to apply for financial aid, students must submit a completed Application for Assistantship, Fellowship, and Scholarship form to the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. The Financial Aid Committee of the School of Graduate Studies reviews applications and/ or nominations for financial aid.

A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required in order for an applicant to be considered for Financial Aid. All recipients must be officially admitted to the School of Graduate Studies.
