CEMSE Morgan State University Presents: 2017 STEM Expo!

The 5th Annual Morgan State University STEM Expo will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Calvin and Tina Tyler Ballroom in the University Student Center on the campus of Morgan State University. The STEM Expo is hosted by the Center for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Education (CEMSE) and the Division of Research and Economic Development (DRED). The expo will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Dr. Victor McCrary, Vice President for Research and Economic Development, will serve as the Master of Ceremony and will introduce invited guests and administrators. The goal of the STEM Expo is to inform, engage, and excite middle and high school students throughout the state of Maryland (Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Prince Georges County and Montgomery County), to the exciting global career opportunities in STEM. The STEM Expo is a part of the state-wide STEM Festival held each year.

Students of all ages will have a blast with the interactive displays and hands-on activities that will include: wind tunnel demonstrations; creating body scrubs and deodorants, making reality apps, Vex and Lego Robotics, Earthquake engineering; automotive simulations; and much more! Students will have the opportunity to speak with STEM professionals about potential, scholarships, internships, and careers.
