A tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Communications Studies at Morgan State University, Dr. OluwaTosin Adegbola’s academic backgrounds are in Public Relations, English Literature, Mass Communications and Publishing with degrees and training from Kentucky State University, Howard University and Columbia University.

Dr. Tosin, as she is typically called, is a public relations professional and educator. As a professor she challenges her students to demand a better quality of education and to question complacency. She is fiercely protective of her students' progress and avails herself to the student body in several capacities. She is coach of Morgan’s award winning Honda Campus All Star Challenge team. Her research works and interests are focused on women's images and the ideologies that lend themselves to better understanding societal relationships with women's images. As a professional she has worked as a publicist and media relations specialist for various agencies and consults for several entities.

Dr. Tosin is a volunteer and supporter of different philanthropic efforts, especially those that focus on affecting positively the lives of women, children and the environment. She writes creatively under the pen name T.Richard at her blog www.thetosinteatime.com and will be publishing her first novel.
