Dr. Celeste Chavis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Transportation & Urban Infrastructure Studies in the School of Engineering at Morgan State University. Her research interests include traffic operations, public transportation systems, policy and regulatory decisions, sustainability, and equity of transportation systems. She is particularly interested in informal transit systems and innovative transportation solutions for low density areas. Dr. Chavis is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and is a member of the Paratransit Committee of the Transportation Research Board.  For more information, see visit her website.
