Warren Hayman, EdD
Interim Coordinator, Urban Educational Leadership Doctoral Program
Dr. Hayman currently serves as the Interim Coordinator of the Urban Educational Leadership Program. He retired as Assistant Dean of Education at MSU in 2004.
Dr. Hayman's research internets include Culturally Responsible Pedagogy and Leadership and Community-Family Engagement in Education. He has co-edited two books: Teaching Diverse Populations and Methods of Teaching Urban and Diverse Learner.
Dr. Hayman is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including: Coppin State University Vision Award (2009), Baltimore County NAACP Excellence in Education Award (2008) and the Phi Beta Sigma Education Award (2007). Dr. Hayman was a member of the Oxford University Round Table (2006).
His community service activities include: Member, Board of Trustee, Community College of Baltimore County; President, Board of Trustee, Nairobi College, East Palo Alto, CA; Chairman, Dunbar High School Advisory Board and Member, National Advisory committee Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools (National Dairy Council)
At Morgan, Dr. Hayman teaches courses in Administration and Social Policy.
