Chemistry faculty present at 42nd Annual NOBCChE conference in Orlando, FL
On September 25, 2015 Drs. Pumtiwitt McCarthy and Angela Winstead were invited to speak at the 42nd Annual National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) Conference in Orlando, Florida. The topic of Dr. McCarthy's abstract was "Development of an Activity Assay for the Neisseria meningitidis serogroup W Capsule Polymerase." The topic of Dr. Angela Winstead's abstract was "Inquiry Based Learning and Assessment in General Chemistry."
