Career Connections Resume Book: Deadline for 2010 Resume Book, Feb 22nd, 2010
Students, are you in search of a full-time or intern position? Increase your exposure by submitting your resume to be published in the 2010-2011 Career Connections Resume Book sponsored by the Actuarial Science Program.
The Career Connections Resume Book provides all the Actuarial Science Program's corporate partners with a pool of outstanding individuals from which they can select potential employees. Students majoring in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Risk Management/Insurance, Management, Marketing, Mathematics or other Science/Liberal Arts majors with a business focus are encouraged to submit resumes. All submitted resumes should be edited to fit on one page in the Resume Book Template. Only resumes in this format will be accepted.
Additionally, please be advised that there is a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 for your resume to be included. Resumes of students with G.P.A.s below 3.0 will be considered on an individual basis. Decisions will be based (but not limited to) the following criteria:
1) Major G.P.A.
2) Semester G.P.A. over the last two academic semesters
3) Past research and internship experience
4) Extra-curricular activities, professional affiliations and awards (member of GIS)
Students that do not currently meet the cum 3.0 G.P.A. requirement should submit their resume with a brief paragraph highlighting the reasons they should be included using the criteria listed above and any other activities or experiences which may help influence the selection committee.
SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2010 CAREER CONNECTION RESUME BOOK ARE DUE FEBUARY 22ND, 2010 AND OCTOBER 1ST THEREAFTER.
