SA+P Faculty Published in Planning Journal

Professor Sidney Wong, Assistant Professor in city and regional planning, was recently published in the Journal of Planning History.  The article entitled, "Architects and Planners in the Middle of a Road War: The Urban Design Concept Team in Baltimore, 1966-1971", is about how a group or planners and architect fought the highway engineers within the institution for a better highway system for Baltimore. They won some battles but lost the war and most of them quit and join the coalition of a grassroots movement they helped to form - the Movement Against Destruction.
