Message from Program Director
Experience the excitement of Architecture at Morgan.
Learn the profession of architecture while working in Baltimore, a port city located on the Chesapeake Bay, the largest estuary in North America. Baltimore's built environment and urban landscape are an open laboratory for our architecture students.
The research and design work of Morgan's students and faculty directly serve Baltimore's diverse population and eclectic communities.
Baltimore is the home of national and international architectural firms, as well as smaller architectural practices, together affording students significant opportunities for learning through practice.
The professional architectural curriculum is designed for the working student, helping make professional education in architecture both accessible and affordable.
Architecture at Morgan is about sustainable urban-focused architecture.
Our students are diverse, and come from around the world.
Morgan State University offers several paths to the NAAB-Accredited professional degree of Master of Architecture.
For high-school graduates, we offer a pre-professional degree as preparation for the M. Architecture degree, and an accelerated five-year path of study leading directly to the M. Architecture degree.
For college graduates with pre-professional degrees, like the Bachelor of Architecture & Environmental Design offered here at Morgan State University, and pre-professional degrees from other universities and colleges, we have a four-semester course of graduate study just for you.
For college graduates in non-architecture subjects, we have an M. Architecture degree designed for your educational needs.
