Earl. G. Graves School of Business & Management

Welcome to the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management!

It is my distinct pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you. Our school is a vibrant hub of academic excellence and innovation, and I’m delighted to share some highlights of what makes us exceptional.

With ten undergraduate programs, six master’s offerings, and six specialized focus areas in our Ph.D. program, we offer a diverse range of educational opportunities that cater to the aspirations of our students and the dynamic demands of the business world.

What truly sets us apart is our steadfast commitment to experiential learning. We understand that theoretical knowledge alone is not enough to succeed in the competitive business landscape. That’s why we actively collaborate with the corporate community to bring real-world, hands-on experiences to our students.

Our partnerships with leading businesses and organizations provide our students with unparalleled opportunities to apply their classroom learning. Through internships, co-op programs, consulting projects, and immersive workshops, our students gain valuable insights and skills that set them on a path to success from day one, whether they choose to join corporate and government sectors, launch their startup, or pursue graduate studies.

Our three research centers—the National Center for Blockchain and FinTech, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Data Analytics—play a pivotal role in facilitating these partnerships. They serve as bridges between academia and industry, fostering collaboration and ensuring that our students are exposed to the latest trends and challenges in their chosen fields.

In addition to our experiential learning initiatives, we take immense pride in our academic accreditations. Our school holds the prestigious AACSB accreditation for all business programs, a testament to our commitment to excellence in business education. Furthermore, our accounting program boasts a separate accreditation, highlighting our dedication to producing top-notch accounting professionals.

Notably, we are among a few schools globally offering a project management program's GAC accreditation and holding the coveted AACSB accreditation. This recognition underscores the quality of our project management education and the alignment of our curriculum with industry standards.

Our state-of-the-art facilities, including the Capital Markets Lab and Cybersecurity Lab, are not just spaces for study; they are living laboratories where students can practice their knowledge and become better professionals.

Our world-class and diverse faculty members are active contributors to these collaborative efforts, often working closely with industry leaders to bring real-world case studies into the classroom. Their dedication to nurturing our students' talents and ambitions is evident in how they mentor, guide, and inspire.

Our curricula are thoughtfully designed and regularly updated to ensure that our graduates are well-prepared to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the modern business world. We believe in equipping our students with the skills and insights they need to succeed today and well into the future.

I invite you to explore our website to learn more about the exciting programs, research initiatives, and opportunities that await you at the Graves Business School. Whether you are a prospective student, a current student, a faculty member, or a member of the wider community, we are excited to have you be a part of our dynamic and innovative community.

Thank you for considering us as your partner in education and professional growth. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals and aspirations at the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management.

Warm regards,

Ali Emdad
