Landscape Architecture

landscape architecture at Morgan banner

Landscape architects design, plan, and manage land – from community gardens to larger parks and regional watersheds. Essential to their work is an appreciation for both natural and built places, a willingness to unravel their complexities, and the knowledge and skills to thoughtfully engage their accumulated forms,  processes, and stories.

Accreditation

The Master of Landscape Architecture program is a professional degree program fully-accredited by the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). In the State of Maryland, graduates from an accredited degree program are eligible to take the national Landscape Architecture Registration Exam (LARE) after two (2) years of full-time, professionally supervised employment.
