When are abstracts due?
Abstracts should be submitted by 26 Jan 2018 to ronald.m.errico@nasa.gov. You will receive confirmation of the acceptance of your abstract by 7 February.

When does registration open?
Registration will open in early 2018.

What is the registration fee?
The workshop will require a registration fee of approximately 120 € per person. This will be payable in cash when you register upon arrival.  The precise amount required will be provided by 1 June. No fee will be required for accompanying spouses.

How can I be to be added to the workshop email list?
Please contact ronald.m.errico@nasa.gov to be added to the email notification list.

How do I book a room at the hotel?
To make hotel reservation at the conference site, send an email to melia.ria@meliaportugal.com referencing that you are a participant of the  Workshop on Sensitivity Analysis and Data Assimilation in Meteorology and Oceanography to get access to our special rates. Tell them your days of arrival and departure and whether you want a single or double (sharing) room. If the latter, say who you will be sharing with. If you are obtaining travel funds from Ron, do not make your own reservation. He will do that for you next month.

What are the workshop costs?
The workshop costs consist of a registration fee and hotel fees. The registration fee will be approximately 120 euros per attendee, payable on arrival. The hotel fee includes room and board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with the cost depending on room type:

Single room: 151 euro per night
Double occupancy: 203 euro per night (101.5 euro per person)
Triple occupancy: 255 euro per night (85 euro per person)
