Department: Transfer Center

Duties:    Oversees the Connect Program, the NEXUS Program and other similar initiatives; assists the Articulation Specialist and the Director with various duties; corresponds with students, partners, parents, faculty and staff; develops and implements programs and activities promoting the University's commitment to the smooth transition of transfer students; performs assessments to evaluate results and impacts; coordinates programmatic events; develops forms and efficient modes of operation; collaborates with the Retention Coordinators on placement testing, alert programs and interventions; implements and assesses other pre/post curricular  and extra-curricular transitional programs; may work evenings and weekends;  and performs other duties, as required.                                                                    

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Law, or other relevant field; One (1) year of experience required.  Valid Maryland Non-commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license may be required.

Special Note:   The compensation for this position is derived from a research contract, gift or grant. Therefore, this position is subject to automatic termination upon expiration of funds.
