Department:     Office of Records and Registration

Duties:    Assists the Registrar and the Associate Registrar in the implementation and coordination of the front office in the Office of Records and Registration; manages and supervises the daily administrative and clerical operations of the front counter, transcript, registration, and student workforce operation; coordinates records and registration activities for the university’s special programs and populations;  facilitates registration of special populations; monitors and documents enrollments; maintains a high degree of confidentially; ensures compliance with FERPA regulations; ensures confidentially of information; serves as a resource  of information; acts as a liaison between schools, departments, University Police, and other organizations; provides administrative and clerical support; performs other duties, as required.                                                                                                                                               

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in records and registration or related enrollment management program, administrative, student services activity or high volume customer service atmosphere. One (1) year of  supervisory and managerial experience.

 

Preferred:     Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

 

Requirements:   Knowledge of processes for the Registrar office; knowledge of customer service based operations; knowledge of office procedures, methods and techniques, word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); ability to supervise and manage; ability to multi-task and set priorities; ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with co-workers, supervisors, and students; ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations and procedures; ability to exercise initiative in organizing and completing assignments independently; ability to communicate effectively; ability to interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students.
