Department:      School of Business and Management

Duties:  Oversees and manages the Master’s in Business Administration Program (MBA); assists in the management of the School of Business; provides support to the Dean in curriculum  and faculty development; oversees all issues related to assessment and accreditation; develops and implements comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a high-quality and diverse student body; develops and manages an annual recruiting and marketing plan;  provides leadership for programs, events, and activities that support students; develops a data base and strategies involving alumni, current students and other referral sources in the recruitment process; oversees with the Dean and the department chairs, the development of on-line and other promotion, marketing materials and student recruitment publications;  develops the multi-semester schedule of courses; operates under the guidance of the School’s MBA Committee; represents the school in internal and external meetings; makes presentations to a variety of audiences; provides advice and guidance to students, applicants, recruiters, and the general public regarding Morgan’s MBA policies and procedures; provides information regarding deadlines, events, orientation, registration, courses, academic policies, graduation and other pertinent information; works evenings and weekend; may travel; and performs  other duties, as required. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Business Administration or other closely  related field; Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in successful recruitment and admissions programs; experience managing online graduate programs;  ability to travel, work evenings and weekends.

Requirements:   Knowledge of recruitment strategies; knowledge of online programs;   knowledge of Microsoft and Office Suite; skill  in program management; ability to analyze data; ability to manage personnel; ability to communicate effectively; ability to operate a computer.
