Department:  Office of the Bursar

Duties:  Provides service, analysis, and general direction both in person and via phone to students, parents, sponsors and vendors; conducts presentations, seminars, and workshops to potential students; assists functional areas of the Bursars Office in responding to inquiries; maintains accurate and detailed accounting records; responds to student concerns or questions; provides assistance to the Supervisor, as well as satellite service reps from other departments, including the University Call Center;  and performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field. Two (2) years of experience in receivables and accounting which included customer contact with the general public.

Requirements:  Knowledge of principles, practices, methodology, and procedures for the provision of student financial aid; knowledge of policies pertaining to the provision of student financial aid; skill with the budget process as well as overview of accounts receivable and accounts payable; strong organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively; ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct student financial assistance programs and initiatives.
