"365 Days in Clichy Montfermeil" Premiering at Morgan State University, May 3rd

In October 2005, the world looked on as young Afrikans in France rebelled against their historic mistreatment by police. Though there has been a whiteout by French media on these incidents, Afrikan filmmakers Ladj Ly and Diarapha Diallo created a compelling documentary that presents the relationship between racism, despair, urban living and hope. The filmmakers will be present and answer any questions you have about being Black in France.

The Institute of Urban Research at Morgan State University proudly presents "365 Days in Clichy Montfermeil" on May 3 at 6pm at the Clarence M. Mitchell Engineering Building Auditorium.
It will be the only showing of the film in the Baltimore Area. Don't miss it!
