"365 Days in Clichy Montfermeil" Premiering at Morgan State University, May 3rdIn October 2005, the world looked on as young Afrikans in France rebelled against their historic mistreatment by police. Though there has been a whiteout by French media on these incidents, Afrikan filmmakers Ladj Ly and Diarapha Diallo created a compelling documentary that presents the relationship between racism, despair, urban living and hope. The filmmakers will be present and answer any questions you have about being Black in France.
