Crime Alerts are posted in an effort to make the Morgan State University Community aware of any situation that poses a potential threat to the safety and well-being of those who live, work, study and visit this campus. By keeping you aware of crimes occurring in your community the University Police hope to encourage you to become actively involved in crime prevention. Personal safety practices and knowledge are your best defense against crime. This alert has been approved by Chief Adrian J. Wiggins, Director of Police & Public Safety and is intended to promote safety on campus and comply, in part, with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1990.

OFF CAMPUS ROBBERY
TIMELY WARNING
March 17, 2008

On Monday, March 17, 2008, at approximately 11:00 PM the victim was walking on Arlington Avenue when he was approached by the below listed suspect. The suspect implied that he had a weapon and demanded and obtained the victims valuables.  The suspect was last seen walking west on Arlington Avenue.

Suspect descriptions are as follows:

Suspect #1 Black/ Male, 21 years of age, dark complexion, short hair, 5’6”, 140 lbs, blue jeans and a long sleeve brown shirt.

No other information at this time.
