Morgan MBA Program Director's Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the Morgan MBA Program. The AACSB accredited, Morgan MBA Program, established in 1969, is a two-year program consisting of seven (7) core courses and (4) electives (33 credits total), which would determine your area of emphasis, i.e. accounting, finance, project management, supply chain management, marketing, etc.
Additional foundation or pre-MBA courses may be required to supplement any gaps between the undergraduate curriculum and the core MBA courses. There are a total of eight (8) foundation/ pre-MBA courses. A transcript review would determine how many (if any) of those courses you would need to take.
All courses are three (3) credits, and the tuition is $751 ($678 tuition/ $73 fees) per credit, non-resident. The in-state tuition rate is $421 ($348 tuition, $73 fees) per credit. Full-time students enroll in 9 credits (3 classes per semester).
Applications deadlines for Spring admission are November 1, International and December 1, U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident. Fall admission deadlines are June 1, International and July 1, U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident. Apply as early as possible for priority consideration for admissions and scholarships. An on-line application is available for your convenience at: https://apply.embark.com/grad/morganstate. The application fee is $40.
Before the application can be processed from a student who has completed post-secondary education (college) outside the United States, the School of Graduate Studies must receive a course by course evaluation of the applicant's credentials/transcript from either Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) at www.ece.org or World Educational Services (WES) at www.wes.org.
It is also necessary to sit for the GMAT or GRE Examination for full admission to the Program. You can find out more about this process by visiting www.mba.com for the GMAT Exam and www.ets.org/gre for the GRE Exam. Applicants who already have a master's degree may be exempt from this requirement.
I know this is a lot of information, but the good news is that there is still time to apply and we welcome the opportunity to tell you more about our challenging, but rewarding MBA Program.
