If you plan to arrive for the Friday events at Hampden-Sydney:
From the East (coming from Richmond direction, including Maryland and DC attendees): Arriving via 460-W, you will take the US-15-BUS N / US-15 S exit. At the top of the ramp, you will turn left onto US-15 S. **
From the West (coming from Lynchburg direction): Arriving via 460-E, you will take the US-15-BUS N / US-15 S exit. At the top of the ramp, you will turn right onto US-15 S. **
From the North (coming from the Charlottesville direction): Arriving via 15-S, this merges with 460-E. At this point, follow the “From the West” directions. **
**Once you’ve turned onto 15-S close to Farmville: After 3 miles, you turn right onto VA-133. After .1 mile, bear right as VA-133 becomes VA-692/College Road.
On the Hampden-Sydney campus:
The banquet will take place in Settle Hall (building #25 on the campus map). Enter the campus on College Rd. About 1/4 mile past the football field, turn right onto Via Sacra. About 1/4 mile down Via Sacra, there are two parking lots on the right between Eggleston Library (bldg #28) and Gilmer Hall (bldg #29) and one on the left between Winston Hall (bldg #33) and Maples (bldg #30). They will be marked "MAA Parking."
(If those parking lots are full, then use the parking lot behind Venable Hall (bldg #35). Go back to College Rd., turn right, and then turn right onto South Boundary Rd. The Venable parking lot is straight ahead.)
Settle Hall is a short walk to the northeast from these parking lots. Enter Settle Hall from the east (upper level). The banquet will be in the room to the right (the Board Room) as you enter the building.
If you plan to arrive for the Saturday events at Longwood University:
From the East (this includes those coming from MD and DC via Richmond): Arriving via 460-W, you will take the 460-W business ramp to Farmville. You will then be on 460 Business. After about 2.3 miles, you will turn left at a stop light onto US-15 BR/Main Street. At the next stop light, turn right onto High Street.
From the West: Arriving via 460-E, you will take the US-15 N exit, and then at the top of the ramp turn right onto US-15 BR /W. 3rd St. Follow this road for approximately 3.4 miles. Turn right at a stop light onto Oak St. (there is a hospital on the right). Go over the hill to the first stop light. Turn left onto High St.
From the North: Arriving via 15-S, turn left onto US-15 BR/ US 460 BR/ W. 3rd St. Follow this road for approximately 3.4 miles. Turn right at a stop light onto Oak St. (there is a hospital on the right). Go over the hill to the first stop light. Turn left onto High St.
On the Longwood University campus:
Events will take place in 3rd floor of Ruffner Hall (building 10 on the campus map) and in the auditorium of Hiner Hall (building 21 on the campus map); lunch will take place in the Nance Room of the Dorrill Dining Hall (building 28 on the campus map). All parking spaces marked as faculty/ staff and commuter parking are open to you on Saturday, except those labeled as premium parking. We recommend first going to either the Wheeler Lot. If that is full, we then recommend the Randolph St. Lot. There is also a faculty lot on Buffalo St. and one behind the Jarman auditorium. Please see campus and parking maps for more information.
