Introduction: The Bear Transit office is recruiting for a Shuttle Bus Driver. Interested candidates should have a strong desire in advancing the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Duties: Providing campus transportation for faculty, staff and students; maintaining a professional and courteous attitude while demonstrating and delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years driving experience involving the transport of passengers.

Requirements: A valid Maryland State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement; must maintain the required driver's license with no more than 5 points; good physical and mental health with a current Department of Transportation Certificate. The ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, transport passengers safely, operate wheelchair lift, communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
