Department: Procurement & Property Control

Introduction: The Procurement & Property Control Department is recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to support the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Duties: Supervising the receipt and processing of materials for the University; maintaining documentation of shipping and receiving materials; ensuring all departmental and university procedures are followed; assigning deliveries and moving schedules; scheduling workloads according to the number of staff members available to complete assignments; maintaining organization and cleanliness of receiving vehicles and areas; directing the delivery of registered, certified and express mail to the Procurement Office for proper handling; reconciling the receiving log on a weekly basis, with particular attention to open purchase orders (30+ days); processing all computers received from various departments to property control for degaussing in accordance with the Department of Defense (DOD) regulations and performing other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED with at least two (2) years of supervision experience.

Requirements: Must be computer literate; possess great organizational skills; ability to perform physical work requiring bending; stooping; reaching, carrying and lifting; ability to communicate effectively.
