Introduction: The Intercollegiate Athletics Department is currently recruiting for a Facility, Equipment & Events Operations Assistant. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to advance the mission of Morgan State University, the largest Historically Black University in Maryland.

Duties:
Reviewing event scheduling software to determine event inventory needs, labor and time required to complete all tasks for upcoming events; receiving equipment deliveries according to the delivery schedule; setting up equipment required for authorized events one hour prior to clients arrival; breaking down equipment; storing equipment, supplies and vehicles properly; maintaining inventory of all equipment and supplies; establishing and documenting policies and procedures for inventory tracking; providing preventive maintenance and repair of all the university events equipment, supplies, and vehicles to prevent pilferage, damage, or loss; providing the coordinator of university events with regular recommendations and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED. No experience required.

Requirements: Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and carry up to 65 pounds: Must be able to work flexible or rotating schedules, including but not limited to evenings and weekends.
