Introduction:
The School of Computer, Mathematical & Natural Sciences (SCMNS) is recruiting for a Peer Mentoring Program Coordinator in the Dean's Office. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to support the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Duties: Facilitating consistent outreach efforts, to recruit Peer Mentors and Mentees; organizing meetings and events to promote Mentor and Mentee engagement; tracking and monitoring engagement activities; assisting the Director of Student Success with coordinating the recruitment and selection process; assisting with the planning and implementation of training opportunities and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, from an accredited College or University and at least two (2) years of related work experience.

Requirements: Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively, independently or within a team; ability to interact with diverse student populations; history of previous work experience as a student activity coordinator or a similar position; must be able to work flexible hours, evenings or weekends as needed.
