Introduction: The School of Community Health and Policy is currently recruiting for a Nursing Clinical Site Coordinator. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to support the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). This is a grant funded position.

Duties:
Acquiring, contracting, monitoring and evaluating all clinical sites for Nursing courses; ensuring that all faculty meet credentialing requirements of assigned facilities; identifying and mentoring clinical faculty; working with the Director to establish clinical guidelines and standards for faculty and students; participating in networking activities to build relations with health care organizations and professional associations; assisting in identifying and mentoring clinical faculty; ensuring all faculty members have all documentation and necessary trainings completed within a timely and appropriate manor; participating in meetings and committees at clinical facilities and performing other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited College or University with a minimum of four (3) years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited University with a minimum of one (1) year of related work experience. Supervisory, clinical-related and administrative experience is preferred.

Requirements: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Maryland State license or eligibility to be licensed; ability to effectively work well within a team; ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of constituencies; immunizations must be up to date; BCLS certification required and HIPPA Compliance training required.
