Introduction:
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is recruiting for a Programmer Analyst II. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to support the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Duties: Supporting systems, applications and processes; defining business requirements by designing, developing, coding, testing, implementing programs, workflows and reports, to accommodate business practices; utilizing request, problem and issue tracking software; code writing proficiency in database and web applications; conducting self-studies, classroom trainings and working with other Enterprise Services Support Staff; developing and modifying programs, scripts, reports and job streams based specifications developed with end user input; maintaining the ERP Software including but not limited to patch management, trouble shooting and trouble ticket management and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or a related field from an accredited College or University with a minimum of one (1) year of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or a related field from an accredited University. No work experience is required.

Requirements: Must have knowledge of software development such as Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) and JAVA applications; excellent oral, written, organizational and decision making skills; ability to manage multiple projects priorities in a high demand environment; ability to form and build effective client relationships.
