Introduction: The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is recruiting for an ERP Security Analyst. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to support the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
Duties: Providing software support for Banner Online Security requirements; acting as the Banner Security Administrator; Issuing Banner usernames and passwords as approved by the Banner Security Coordinators; providing feedback to Banner Security Coordinators via reports and electronic files; ensuring Banner user accounts are synchronized with the Active Directory for Single Sign On; assigning and granting privileges that may be required by consulting entities and staff programmers; assisting the Associate Director of Enterprise Services with the testing and coordination of program changes for submission to the production system; assisting in maintaining the integrity of the Code Management System; working with technical and non-technical teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions for the University's ERP application and other integrated systems, including designing, developing and maintaining administrative applications; creating and maintaining MIS reporting for State and Federal requirements and performing other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of one (1) year of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience working within a university environment.
Requirements: Must have knowledge application systems design, programming and analysis; demonstrated experience with SQL, including procedural SQL programming; demonstrated experience with Shell programming; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written with technical and non-technical staff; strong work ethic; ability to manage a workload that includes short and long-term projects, immediate problem solving and ongoing product maintenance of code and documentation; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; proven ability to work with sensitive and confidential information using procedures required by Federal, State and OIT regulations and policies; ability to produce accurate and reliable work within deadlines.
