Department: Undergraduate Admission & Recruitment

Introduction: The Department of Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment is recruiting for a Diversity Admission Officer. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to advance the mission of one of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Duties: Disseminating information both University-wide and to the public regarding undergraduate admissions; recruiting diverse and eligible undergraduate students; evaluating and processing admission applications; delivering presentations in English or Spanish to Students, Parents, High School Counselors and Community College Counselors; coordinating and contributing to the success of initiatives designed to identify, attract, admit and enroll students in Morgan State University's undergraduate programs; planning and implementing local and national recruitment activities; translating recruitment materials into proper Spanish and performing other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have achieved a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university with at least one (1) year of experience working with diverse populations.

Requirements: Must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish; must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of university protocol, policies and procedures; ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast paced environment; must be able to work late evening or weekend hours as necessary; valid driver's license is required.
