Department: Office of Technology Transfer
Introduction: The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) is recruiting for a Programs & Marketing Manager. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to advance the mission of the Nation's largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
Duties: Managing the Office of Technology Transfer's (OTT) Innovation Works Initiative Programs, including all marketing efforts; marketing university innovations to businesses and maintaining industry contacts; managing the OTT's website Innovations Newsletter and innovation recognition and awards programs and performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Life or Physical sciences or a related field, from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience with proven competence in Marketing and Program Management.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Business or Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university with relevant experience working in a technology transfer office setting.
Requirements: Excellent client and customer service, oral, written, interpersonal, time management, and problem solving skills; knowledge of business management principles involved in strategic marketing planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
