EXPERIENCE

Morgan State University
Title III Director 1988- present
Responsibilities include: The administration of the multi-million dollar federal Title III program. Specific duties include: Ensuring that institution remains in compliance with federal laws governing the program; ensuring that activities/ programs are making progress in achieving stated and funded objectives; making sure that activities are expanding funds in accordance with approved applications and in accord with the law.

Morgan State University
Vice President for Planning and Institutional Research/Title III Director, 1984-1988
Responsibilities included: Facilitating and coordinating all institutional planning and research efforts; monitoring progress of all academic and non-academic units in meeting stated goals and objectives; and other duties as indicated above for the Director of Title III.

Responsibilities include: The teaching of course at the doctoral level in Educational Planning; The Management of Higher Education; and Theories of Educational Leadership; Advise Doctoral students and serve and doctoral level committees.

Responsibilities included; Assisting the director in establishing a long-range planning process at Florida A & M University; Assisting all Academic and non-Academic units in developing long-range plans; and assisting the director in monitoring plans from throughout the institutions

Responsibilities included: Assisting the director in developing curricular; training faculty in teaching skills for students seeking a certification in related programs; evaluating teachers and staff assisting in the processing of financial aid packages for students; and evaluating programs for accreditation purposes.

Responsibilities included: Teaching high school -students; developing lesson plans; evaluating student performance; advising students; and monitoring student behavior.
