FULL TIME - CONTRACTUAL
CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Department: Sponsored Programs & Research

Duties:   Assist faculty in the identification of new sources of contract funding; work closely with faculty in the submission of new and continuing contracts; serve as the primary point of contact for the Office of Sponsored Programs & Research (OSP) and  serve as liaison between the OSP and faculty; assist with editing grant proposals; and perform other duties, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelors Degree.  Three years experience in contract negotiation, preferably in an academic setting.

Requirements:  Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR); skill in the negotiation of contracts; skill in basic computer software packages; excellent oral and written communication skills.
