Department: Graves School of Business and Management

Duties:   The Retention Advisor will assist with the implementation of retention activities and the evaluation of student progress at the Earl G. Graves School of Business Management (GSBM) at Morgan State University.  The Retention Advisor will work with both the University-wide and GSBM retention teams executing multiple retention strategies related to academic advisement, academic probation (tracking, intervention, and monitoring), grades (D,F,I), freshman programs, financial aid probation, and FASFA renewal.  The employee will conduct Freshman Orientation and coordinate the GSBM Tutorial Program.

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelors Degree in a related field; Experience in academic advisement and/or program development.

Requirements:  Knowledge of tutorial program development and management; skill in program development; ability to work with students.
