Department: Associate Director, Financial Aid (042197)
Duties: This position will serve as a member of the Management Team for the Office of Financial Aid. The Associate Director will oversee a staff of 22 individuals and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. In the absence of the Director, s/he will assume authority over the office. Additional duties may assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor degree in Student Personnel Services or a related field. 5 years of relevant work experience, 3 years at a managerial level. Working knowledge of the Title IV rules and regulations preferably in a collegiate environment, performing student related duties, such as, financial aid, student affairs, admissions, or counseling.
Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively; Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; Ability to operate a computer; Ability to provide advice and guidance; Skill in coordinating work with other departments of the university; Ability to supervise.
