HBCU-UP PROGRAM PROJECT MANAGER

Department: HBCU-UP Program

Duties: The Project Manager will work under the supervision of the Co-Principal Investigator (PI); recruits and hires student tutors; prepares employment contracts; collects, reviews, and approves all timesheets; supervises session leaders and schedules work; designs, creates, and maintains a student database to track student study hours and participation; provides student study time reports to the physics and mathematics professors and meets regularly with them; and collaborates in the preparation of bi-weekly reports for the PI, Co-PI and the STEM departmental chairpersons, bi-monthly.

Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Mathematics, or Science. Two years of full time or part time experience in project management, that included experience managing a budget.

Requirements: Good communications skills, strong interpersonal skills; good organizational skills; ability to operate a computer; knowledge Microsoft applications.
