FULL-TIME CONTRACTUAL:
NIGHT MANAGER

FLSA Status: Non-exempt Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Department: Residence Life

Duties: Monitor student residence buildings; Provide timely responses to emergency and crisis situations; Exhibit a visible staff presence in the residence hall and provide assistance to any incident that may arise; Interpret policy, rules and regulations of residence halls to students, staff, parents, etc.; Function as a role model to students and staff by personally observing university and residence hall policies and procedures; Screen guests coming into the building; Serve as a mediator in resolving conflicts with students; Prepare and submit accurate and complete reports and other assignments; Maintain close contact with Residence Life staff; Attend meetings with staff to discuss pressing issues; Attend and participate in staff development and training programs developed for residence life staff.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. A background in security work is desirable.

Requirements: Commitment to customer service. Must be available to work nights, weekends, university closings, holidays, and events.
